Located in the Highway 280 Overlay District, RDC collaborated with Mavis Tires & Brakes to create a contemporary design that aligns with the brand's values of convenience, affordability, and selection. The 6,370-square-foot facility features a modern design with earth-tone cultural stone, teal and beige exterior insulation, and a variety of horizontal plane changes and modern cornice details.
Despite numerous restrictions on building design, orientation, and articulation, due to its unique location, our team successfully designed a space incorporating high-efficiency RTUs, LED lighting, and high-efficiency plumbing fixtures. The final design was well-received by both the planning staff and the community.
