Mavis Tires & Brakes (Adaptive Reuse)

RDC assisted Mavis Tires & Brakes to transform an abandoned quick service restaurant into a modern automotive service facility, significantly impacting the existing center and surrounding communities. Our team leveraged the existing floor slopes and the unconventional floor plan with multiple structural components to deliver a minimalistic and modern design, incorporating textured masonry, metal, and stucco. Additionally, various horizontal articulations, cornices, and architectural elements were used to enhance the façade.

All Mavis facilities are designed to meet or exceed LEED certification standards, and this project implemented sustainable and environmentally friendly materials in conjunction with the adaptive re-use of the primary structure.
