RDC developed this new location for our client by applying their existing brand standards to the space. Key to maintaining their customer experience was space planning and working through some programmatic challenges presented by the small space.
The check-in desk is set off-center to maintain a comfortable and secure seating area for customers. Hierarchy is given to the check-in with a heavy overhead soffit and contrasting black and white finishes. Integrated plants provide screening to the retail area entrance beyond. Inside the retail area, we developed a central retail display to facilitate customer queuing and circulation. The central and perimeter retail displays are finished in rustic oak to compliment the high-contrast black and white finishes in the space.
