RDC designed this space for a cannabis brand with roots in street art, rap music, and skateboarding. The client wanted a flexible space to host events, when it wasn’t in operation as a dispensary. To accommodate this, all of the tables are on wheels and the perimeter fixtures are modular or can roll from side to side.
The architectural elements of the space are kept in neutral black and white, to highlight the products and rotating murals and art displays. Skylights and the use of polycarbonate panels on the interior walls keep the space bright and airy. Adjacent to the dispensary is a consumption lounge, equipped with a flexible stage for live performances and more open wall space for mural artists to fill. When not in use, the stage doubles as additional banquette seating.
